Strade dei Parchi works in coordination with other Entities and Subjects in order to be able to offer all Travelers on its highways the best assistance in terms of safety:
- the Traffic Police Highway Operations Center in Fiano Romano coordinates the Traffic Police Patrol Service from the Tangenziale Est to Vicovaro/Mandela, while the Traffic Police Highway Operations Center in L’Aquila coordinates the Traffic Police Patrol Service on the rest of the A24 and A25 highway network;
- Oil Companies and Catering Companies, concessionaires for the provision of refueling and refreshment services on Service Areas;
- firefighters;
- ACIGlobal, VAI Europe Assistance, AXA Assistance and IMA for mechanical rescue services;
- 118, which provides emergency medical assistance.
30′, 15′, 20′: the times of security
30 seconds – average waiting time to receive assistance in automatic door (in case of malfunction)
15 minutes – average arrival time in case of an accident (from reporting) of management personnel (Traffic Police and Park Road)
20 minutes – average frequency of passage of snow vehicles in mountain sections.
In 80% of cases, restoration of circulation occurs within 1 hour after the first report.
Security management
Parks Road and Traffic Police jointly coordinate intervention activities. Traffic Police ensures the first intervention to assist people, protecting traffic safety while Parks Road ensures the timely arrival of its staff and emergency vehicles to restore traffic conditions and activate all communication channels to inform Customers.
